The River of the Western Ghats in Sea World Prague

At Sea World Zoo, a new exhibition has been created entitled "The River of the Western Ghats". This rare and lesser-known area is presented in a unique 9-metre-long reservoir that simulates the flow of the river in three stages, from source to valley. The Western Ghats are a mountain range in southern India, one of the eight most rain-rich areas in the world, fully comparable to the Amazon.

The aquarium is divided into three parts - an extra-strong current spring, the middle section of the river and a forest pool. In this aquarium, visitors can also see very rarely farmed fish.
