Passengers aged 6 and over must pay 25 CZK for a one-way trip on the cableway at the Zoo. Up to one child aged 5 or under may travel for free if accompanied by a person aged 15 or over. Coins must be used for tickets purchased from the ticket vending machines located at the upper and lower stations; these machines do not give change, so bills must be exchanged for coins from the cableway attendant. Groups of six or more persons can purchase group tickets to speed up the process. Tickets from the cableway at the Zoo are not valid for any other form of public transport, and no other tickets or passes can be used for a ride on the cableway. 

You can get a stroller, cart or wheelchair from the main entrance to the zoo at no cost; you only need to present a valid ID (e.g. National ID, driver's license, passport).

Childrens Tram

Your kids aged 14 or below can ride the minitram at the Children's Zoo from April to November (weather permitting) for CZK 10. The ride is 3 minutes long and the tram goes around three times. The minitram operates from 10am to 6pm during the peak season and from 11am to 5pm in the off season.

Visiting the Zoo with dogs

Bringing your dog to the Zoo is allowed, but it must remain on a leash and have a valid vaccination certificate. When purchasing the ticket for the dog, you must present the certificate. Dogs are not allowed in pavilions, restaurant interiors, the Children’s area or the Children’s Zoo grounds, but there are designated areas outside these places where you can leave your dog. The same rules apply to guide and assistance dogs.
